No way!!! It must be somewhere. Is it buried somewhere? Blanket basked? Couch?

i have searched high and low. i have no idea where it is!
and as you know, socks do get lost in the black hole of laundry so it did not help to try and match all the pairs.

i did not feel so good in my stomach this morning and i got out of bed and horked it up!!

yep ,the thing sat in his stomach for 21 days. it came out whole, was a little felted and looked like a hairball. unbelievable!
i am so relieved it showed up.

no more socks on his foot. a cone does not help since he is too bendy and can stick his foot inside. bigger cones do not exist. he is still licking his toe. yikes.

i am still wondering how something can hang out in a stomach for that long…
all food passing by, and then whoops, all of a sudden it comes out!

WoW!!  Thank God it didn’t cause a blockage.  Wheew, what a relief.

I’m wondering the same thing @greydogs. That must have been awfully rank too. All those bacteria can’t be good for a dog.

    Oh my! Great thread.

I knew my husband was marriage material when he helped our older Siamese cat out by pulling a once-white piece of ribbon out of her. She loved him intensely from that day forward!

the sock actually came out intact, just felted. did not smell bad. all so strange but we are still very relieved it showed up on its own.

i am trying homeopathic meds now for his hot spot.

yes that took a looong time to do my best not to worry.
i still can’t believe it came out felted and in one piece. crazy boy!

he still has the hot spot on his toe.

he feels he has to lick it at least once a day. it is not that it is constantly bothering him. i think he feels he needs to clean it, and then it is raw again.

Wash it and the sock will be fine.
