I don’t make it myself but I order it monthly from a local company and bought a small freezer to keep it in. I rotate duck and turkey. I definitely would not go back to kibble after seeing how healthy my dogs are. It is so much cleaner! Have you seen this?

I agree with greydogs – have heard the same thing. I will be interested in hearing what you decide and how Schatze is doing! Glad she’s feeling good 🙂

Thoughts and prayers are with you. Let us know what the oncologist says. What I do know is the importance of supporting Schatze’s immune system with low carb diet and NO more vaccinations with a cancer/immunocompromised dog.

Hi Andrew, I noticed the prong collars – I was wondering if you keep them on your weims all the time?

Because there is not needed transition between raw and dry, you could (if you want) do 100% raw and then still bring your dry food when backpacking. Ocha cannot have dry food no matter what (instant stomach upset) so when car camping we bring her raw food in a cooler, and when backpacking we bring “Honest Kitchen” (dehydrated) food in ziploc bags.

I recently switched my two to Honest Kitchen – it is fantastic! The change in Keiko is so huge that I will never go back to kibble 🙂

NO more litters, unless you screen for OFA  and  any hereditary problems, are a member of good standing with the WCA as well as the local club and participate with your weims in an AKC event albeit show, field or performance.

The rescues are full of weims produced from backyard breeders. Please leave it to the people who do it for the betterment of the breed. Please educate yourself and no more litters. I help with weim rescue and it is full of weims from backyard breeders. Please don’t take any offense. I just want you to understand the reality of what happens to so many weims. Just out of curiosity,  why do you want to keep having litters?
