When mine scent something, or see an animal in the woods, they are off and it is hard to get them to leave it.  I understand the fear you had.

Our weims dont stink alot. I maybe bath them once every couple month’s,  and that is after a hike or hunting and they get muddy.

I fed our two weims, 3 times a day.  Small meals through out the day helps with the possibility of bloat.  I work my two a lot so they burn it off.   I fed them about 4 cups to 5 cups a day.  If they are going to be coach potatoes for a bit I feed them a little less.  Our 2 year old is 57 lbs. And our 7momth old is 36lbs.

One of our weims just got spayed today, and had her stomach tacked.  We had the same done to or 2 year old weim also.  They older one had a great recovery with no complications.  Elsie had the procedures done today, we will keep you informed of recovery.  It is normal to be nervous,  but everything will be ok.
